Highlights:
We worked with Reuters on lots of exciting projects but the ones that stand out are:
Reuters World Cup:
Ten Languages, Eight Regions, Three Releases, One Event…
The Challenge was to provide World Cup information and statistics in a collaborative working environment for content generation and translation.
Reuters wished to deliver superior, multi-language, ‘World Cup’ editorial content to its media clients. A format was required that would enable the simple, effective and flexible adoption of content by online clients.
The content was structured so Reuters clients could quickly and easily integrate the content within their existing web sites. The content was developed to roll out in three versions, starting with: ‘The Build Up’, ‘Tournament Preview’ and ‘The Kick Off.’ Each version would build on the previous version, providing content providers with up-to-date information.
The content was delivered in ten different languages including: Arabic, Chinese, Kanji, as well as English and other European languages.
Reuters Election Coverage:
Reuters sought to create a dynamic and interactive micro-site that could easily be integrated and carried by some of the world’s biggest internet brands.
The solution was to develop a micro-site in association with the Reuters editorial team, encompassing interactive Flash and HTML to deliver real-time, rich media content. The content was updated in real time using the Reuters’ election feed delivered via XML. The result was a quick, hassle free, client activation to integration cycle.
Subscribing clients included: Yahoo, MSN, Excite, Freeserve, Vizzavi, Scotsman to name a few.
