Lighting Up Piccadilly Circus
Overview:
GURUS worked on the Clotheshow Live account from 2000 until 2005. During this period, many exciting ‘creatives’ were created to connect to a fashion conscious UK audience. Along with a high budget offline marketing campaign using television, billboards, press and radio to announce the new brand, the Clotheshow team wanted to offer an online audience a special experience.
Getting it right
Year on Year, the Clotheshow team looked to expand the brand building work from the previous year.
GURUS delivered more visitors and more ticket sales every year. GURUS worked closely with the Clotheshow Live team to create fresh new creatives that used sexy images with subtle, modern styling.
The design approach steered the user-interface to take the form of a highly intuitive and naked navigation that allowed users to very simply address their basic user requirements of attaining show information and booking tickets. Streaming video clips supported the online experience to bring home the glitz of the event.
GURUS started working with the Clotheshow team to build the online presence but as the event got bigger and bigger we were called in to support the brands other activities. This culminated in 2004 by GURUS being awarded the full creative account which really allowed our creative juices to flow.
As well as the website our duties included Print advertising, Stationary, Brochures, Leaflets, flyers, posters, Show Bag signage, tickets, introduction cards, tent cards, etc.
It was a great experience and really developed our full service offering.
